Exotic Induction Systems on cars youve owned
Discussion
A friend of mine turned up yesterday with the Chrysler Long Ram induction system I d purchased in the USA and intended to fit on my current project, a Jensen C-V8. Of course I d made many measurements and managed to convince myself that it should fit, but you never know till you actually try. As it turns out, the car could ve been designed specifically for it (it wasn t).
I m a sucker for an exotic induction system, even though the reality is that the extra complexity is rarely worth the effort in actual performance (let s not introduce too much common sense though).
It got me thinking of the previous exotic induction systems I ve had on cars; below are some of mine.
What exotic induction systems have you had on your classics?

Lamborghini Jarama with 6 Weber DCOE

Intermeccanica Torino with dual Holleys

Pontiac Firebird Sprint with Quadrajet - circa 1982 so pretty exotic for me back then

Blimey, not many of those here in the UK.......and as you say, perfect fit as well.I m a sucker for an exotic induction system, even though the reality is that the extra complexity is rarely worth the effort in actual performance (let s not introduce too much common sense though).

I assume you got the matching exhaust manifolds, and heat/cooling gubbins to go with them.....and the manifold spring pits are not burnt out?

I do have some of the bits, but don t plan on using them as it was a weakness of the original design. I m looking at converting to water heating much like some of the short rams and probably a selectable carb heat intake; much the same as on carb inducted light aircraft.
