BINGO...thats what AG was after, why post up a picture of a an unusual car without putting the name up unless you want to show that you know what its called, and there's a good chance no one else does.
i know something you dont!...

What a strange effort

sort of reminds you of the Eurofighter principle of design

as in more than One country responsible, and viewed FROM
their respective lands

Trawled the net and found the actual model I had. I think the other car is a De Tomaso Mangusta maybe.

"Breadvan" back ends were all the rage at the time (Lotus Europa, Drogo Ferraris etc.

There were at least one possibly 2 others which looked slightly different, one is in the Alfa Romeo museum. I read that this car was discovered as a barn find by an enthusiast about 15 years ago and bought for a pittance, heard nothing ever since though.

rofl

My dad had a R/C model of one (it was unbranded, just a "sports car" in the very early 80s, with the remote with a button that you press that makes it reverse and steer left!

It seems it was a Corgi model. There's one here towards the bottom of the page and they want £48 for it, don't think mine cost that way back, but I do remember it was red and my best toy car.
