Reg UUU 828F - Daimler 250 - Maroon
Discussion
My late father owned this car for a number of years. Sold it circa 1981/2.
I am trying to find out if it is still around so if you happen to have noticed it (or reg on a different car) I would be most grateful if you could let me know.
Will also post on General Gassing and Jaguar Forums.
Thanks

I guess that as a '67 car it was the Morse MkII Jag style 250.Mum had a few of the Jag 340's in the 70's
UUU828F is listed on the DVLA site as in white and taxed in June.
http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk then vehicle enquiry.

I stumbled across this topic and hopefully you pick up this reply. I bought UUU 828F in March 2008 and it is now in Old English White. From the history I have the car was never Maroon but was Masons Black. It was fully restored and repainted White over 1999 to 2001. I have pictures of the car pre-restoration in Black. The Daimler is one of two cars I own and use for weddings, you can see pictures of the car at www.henleyclassiccarhire.co.uk. I would be interested to hear of any history or photos you may have of the car.

Can you trace a plate by the reg only? ( i dont know the make)
Yes. If you go to http://www.cartell.ie/ and enter the reg, it will tell you what the car is.You can then put the reg and make into http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/app/... to get more info.

Thanks for getting in touch. My Mother in Law will have a look to see if she has any photos.
Strange about the colour, although it was much more common to repaint your favourite colour back then!
Good to see it being looked after - do let me know if you ever decide to sell.
