This years Spa6 was a bit wet . . . but huge fun as always. I arrived at 10 and brought two friends: Joop and Robin.

I tightened 32 Nuts! Yesthe New Brasserie IS Very Nice. Ideal to watch the last 2 hours from with mucho beer.

Steve - RE is not paying you and Karen enough - I presume it was a VERY nice meal on Sat nite

The Brasserie is absolute top - pretty waitresses well - and we were there off and on. Beers with Alasdair McCaig and later with Corin and his bunch.

You were with tha black JPS Cerbera?

Shame we missed - but you were not the only one I missed!

The Cerbera in the Paddock got more looks than any of the Race cars! It was like it was a space ship from another planet!

From all accounts it was a exciting one to watch.

'Fraid not, I had to choose from so many cars because of the rain forced me to stay only 15 mins or so, sorry.


Neil Twyman in the 11.


Roger went absolute mental in his Cooper T51 2.5 litre huge fourpot Climax riot.


Alasdair McCaig came close but had to retire - thought he mentioned a box failure. Roger won.


Wide lines for the fuel-heavy Comet.


The pretty Bizza stormed the field up to 4th, first half of the race closely tailed by the monster Vette Roadster.

And what a blast that race was! Roger explained the car to me and I got interested. Particulary because of the neighbouring paddock was packed to the max with 50s open wheel formula cars: never saw anything like it.

The torquey 2.5 Climax four banger did a 2:48 best!
