Got home last night and my missus tells me she booked us for Laon next year. cool

Anybody else going?

Just hope we manage to get round the circuit this time, as in 2002 the fuel pump packed up so we missed the laps, then after getting that fixed, the clutch went out in the middle of nowhere so we ended up coming home on a trailer. Not fun. frown

I'm going, booked a few months ago. I'm hopefully going to have my 67 Mustang fastback finished by then after a major restoration. A friend in an identical 67 Mustang is also going. Really looking forward to it, watched a few vids on the internet, looks like a great weekend. Which hotel are you stopping in? We are booked into the Ibis. Here's a link from this years event if you havnt already seen it.

Mine has just arranged a trip to Waitrose. Interested in a wife-swap?

I`m booked for 2011, it will be the 3rd visit as we had such a great time,a must for all "PistonHeads".Even the car park at the Ibis has a better show of cars than most UK classic car events.I will look out for your Mustangs,I will be taking a 64 Peugeot Pininfarina Cabriolet.2011 will be the 20th anniversary of the rally and "British Car W/end" so book soon as it will be a sell out.Expect to see 500 entries so all hotels will be fully booked well in advance. We go with Continental Car Tours, ten cars from our pub along with about 200 from the UK,they are good and arrange everything, just turn up and have fun.

They all are basic but nice.Next door to you is the St Vincent which will be full of Brits and just down the road is the Ibis and that will be full of Brits. They all are less than a mile from the autoroute.

We stayed in the St.Vincent last time, a time I'd rather forget due to arriving and leaving on a trailer. frown

The last time I stayed there we arrived on the end of a rope!!and broke down on the way home. The place must have a jinx for UK classics.

Here's the site with contact details, but I'm not sure if it's all booked up by now or not.

More details here, it's possible there may be spaces out of Laon:

I've got around 12 Porsches going over from my TIPEC SELNK group in Kent. We are in the Everhotel as the other hotels were fully booked. We've been twice both times in the TR7 V8 & had a great time. The "tour" of the town on Sunday is bloody fantastic!
I'd suggest making some time to A. have a ride on the vernicular railway which is fascinating & B. the cathedral in the centre of town which is massive & very impressive even if you don't normally do historic buildings.
The locals get well into it & love the mix of cars, some of the French classics I'd only seen in reference books.
