Lovely to see the Ecurie Ecosse short nose at Le Mans. The other car look like one of the 1957 long noses which I think was RSF 302. Curious that Jaguar only won Le Mans once in 1955 and that the only short nose victory was 1956. any chance of a high res scan if I PM you?

ETA: Note the air sccops over the inside rear wheel. These came from the Monzanapolis race when the NSR tyre shredded.

Is the driver in the first pic Ron Flockhart? Ecurie Ecosse had some really great underated drivers in Titterington, Sanderson and Flockhart.

Wonderful documents - thanks for posting them. Interesting to see the inscription "Pic 6" on the top photo - do you have any of the others?

Lowdrag - I was moving some paint tins in my garage and came across what looks to be the car pictured under a pile of old Le Mans scrutineering tickets/pound notes etc. Would you care to make me an offer? wink
