Never availlable in the UK, Taunus Transit 671 from 1965.
Long before the UK Transit MK1 was launched, the Germans made these lovely vans and pick ups.
I bought this cabin/chassis with doubble rear wheels today.

Regards, Willy

Nice choice. There are a couple of these on Retro Rides. One a red panel van. The other was a panel van in Gulf colours with a 2.9 v6 from a Scorpio fitted. I think it's now being converted into a classic transporter.

Cute truck Willy.

As a matter of interest, did the British equivalent (Thames 15 cwt) ever have sliding front doors like the CA Bedfords of the time?

Used to have one in the early 70's (think it had a 1703 c.c. Consul engine?) but can't remember much about it now, or the rest of the early 70's in fact. frown
