Unusual to be a 4-dr GT rather than an 1600E.https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1467457

Such a shame its been so wkered by a previous owner with no taste
That front spoiler looks very much the same style as the optional one AVO designed for the Mk.1 Escort, and was sold as a 909 part number accessory. Not sure whether one would fit a Mk.2 Cortina though, but maybe Ford did one for the Cortina as well, although the FAVO one had the Ford logo and 909 partnumber embossed into the bottom of the curb side, and there were aftermarket copies of it made in the 70's, so maybe one of the fibreglass firms did an extended length version for the Cortina?

I've seen those spoilers on Mk2 Cortinas back in the day. Not a genuine Ford part I'd be 99% certain. No more genuine than black rear window louvres of the same period. Bit like that boot spoiler.
The boot spoiler looks suspiciously like an RS Accessory item for the Cortina 4/5Legacywr said:

What’s wrong with the engine bay? Tacky Burton rocker covers with a poorly painted Pinto plastic oil filler.
2 of the K&Ns have a Race Proved badges. Do all 3 or don't bother.
Blue crimp connectors.

Unfortunately, just like the last owner of my car, some people just have to tinker, have something to do, etc.

I would love a 'Savage' but that just looks a bit (well) tacky, it might be the colour it might be the wheels - it even might be the fact that it is based on a GT? BUT, it seriously needs putting back to period style.
Loose the graphics, paint the roof Dragoon Red (in fact is the main body of the car even Dragoon Red, as it looks very bright?) put a set of Rostyle's back on it as per build sheet. I'd possibly keep the triple Webers though, which might mean keeping the Capri bonnet bulge.
Get rid of all the silly stickers everywhere (why do people do that!) and fit a set of period repro seats that would be close to the ones fitted new by Uren.
I'd probably keep the 5 speed box as well.
Get it cheap enough, could be a good buy.
