black ipods / esquire

thumbing through esquire in a shop yesterday there was a black ipod limited edition for sale. cant remember exactely where it was for sale - something like bamford and sons in london. does anyone know / have any more details?!?

any thoughts on whether the new sony walkman is better than the ipod?!

nope there was an actual black one in esquire with black buttons too rather than that yuckky red of the u2 one - it said it was limited import from japan and only this one place bamford or something sold them

The battery lasts much longer, and it's certainly smaller than the equivalent 20g iPod.

but the software (sonicstage) that comes with it is complete Shte and will require that you convert all your existing MP3's into ATRAC.

The U2 one has a red jog wheel, the one from Bamford & Sons is all black
There is a choice of 20 colours iPods and Powerbooks, can't find a website but their number is 020 7792 9350, and the iPods are about £280

The U2 one has a red jog wheel, the one from Bamford & Sons is all black
There is a choice of 20 colours iPods and Powerbooks, can't find a website but their number is 020 7792 9350, and the iPods are about £280


aaah so it was bamford and sons - why havent they a website i want to see one!

Yep, Sony have finally caved in and the new Net Walkman will accept MP3's. I thought that billb was talking about the previous model that's ATRAC only.

NW HD3 is the one you want, that accepts MP3
