Most excess weight gained over Xmas
Discussion
Those that work out such things reckon the average adult calorie intake on Christmas Day is 7000, and since a bloke needs a daily count of about 2500 (ladies 2000) to stay in balance, it's not hard to see how the weight piles on. Getting rid is a slower process unless the turkey goes off without anybody noticing

I've done well. All this spare time... 85km on an exercise bike last week, plus extra weights session and general training! Dunno about my weight... who cares! I can't see it on my person so something's working.
was that the wrong answer?
PS as for colonics, I heard it's very easy to perforate the rectal wall which can lead to serious problems, given the amount of bacteria that normally lurks there and you wouldn't want near any wounds...

Jeez, this late 20's, non-smoker spread has got to me. I tried putting on a pair of trousers earlier which I hadn't worn for a while and thought "You fat bastard!". So, after a few days of January, I have decided to quit drinking and eating "shit", will kick the new year off by walking/camping/etc the SW coastpath from Poole to home (200 miles). Going to take a bottle of water, some vitamin pills and burn off some paunch!
