Stuttgart........What to do, where to go?????

Hi all,

My eldest son, who is at Stafford Uni, doing Softwear Engineering, has landed a job with Hewlett Packard , near Stuttgart starting in July for just over 12 months....

What's it like, things to do, where to go etc, etc, also if I went over by car to visit him from Manchester, which would be the best route to take??
