Hes back the number of the beast

Judas Priest have a new album coming out in February too, called 'Angel Of Retribution'. 'Proper' rock's coming back. Never really liked Maiden, but given today's unappetising cocktail of the likes of Busted and McFly we've got to take what we can get.
Having said that, new bands such as Franz Ferdinand, The Killers and so on brought out great albums last year, ones you can dance to that make you smile, rather than ones that make you burst into tears and slit your wrists. We're slowly emerging from the wilderness.

Yep. They're on tour this year too. Rob Halford surprisingly returned to do last year's Ozzfest, followed by a sellout tour of the US. I can only assume he's realised now that no-one cares if he's gay or not, only that he can still put together groundbreaking British metal songs. Can't wait for the album, and with any luck I'll try and get some tickets too.
