Shopping in New York

I am off to New York (as it seems so is all of the PH massive!!) on Sunday for 4 days as a Christmas present. I will be going solo, (cue sympathy vote ) but as I have been there twice before I intend to spend a bit of time shopping for some new clothes as well as sightseeing. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on where to get some decent clothes, for a reasonable price. I am looking for a good overcoat, jeans and any other reasonable stylish stuff for a 22 year old guy. Any tips from the enlightened PHers would be great!! Oh and I need to go the Mulbery store and buy a Roxbury handbag for my mum, does anyone know where their store in NY is? Also, any bars/clubs I should pop to.
