Heads Up BBC WM cloned cars NOW!!!
Discussion
Considering the sound bite nature limited by covering three stories in 30 minutes this was quite a good effort by Ashley Blake.
Interview and reconstruction with a guy hauled out of bed by an armed unit following a clone of his car being used in a robbery. 5 hours in the custardy suite while alibi checked out.
Good overview of a properly run ANPR check. By properly run I mean with sufficient manning, chase and stop vehicles, and vehicle examiners on hand as opposed to a van just sat on the verge.
Showed how easy it was to buy plates over phone / internet for a car that is not yours with no identity or vehicle paper checks being done.

"I'd like to say the problem is under control, but I'd be misleading you there,"
