Just wondering if anybody has info on the best BTL mortgages? I have done a bit of research on the Internet but just thought I would ask the PH gang.

Basically I have the opprotunity to buy a house which is an absolute bargain due the sellers needing a VERY quick sale and they are good friend of the family. I know the market in certain areas has gone tits up but it's bang in the middle of a prime rental area (with rents increasing all the time) near the train station.

As it's a commercial mortgage (I assume you already have one on your primary residence) you have to pay a little more and they all tend to track BofE base rates, but 0.75% over base is possible IIRC
