I'm not talking about radio soap stars either!
I'm a field archer, and have been on and off since I was seven!!
Does any one else practice this noble art?

I'm hoping to take a beginners course next month.

Got bitten by the bug after a wee shot at Center Parcs.

No, the one in the Lake District (think it is Oasis Windfell Forest, but now rebadged as Center PArcs!) - closest to me, being from Edinburger.

I used to shoot with the Southgate family who run the archery at the center parc near Bury. Its a great sport, my whole family used to shoot, some of my brothers records as a 'cub' still stand!!
I'm a field archer and shoot a compound bow, (bowhunter limited) let me know how you get on

Used to do Target Archery when i was a lot younger.

Wasn't too bad at it either once came 6th in the Nationals and got loads of medals at home from different tournaments.

Gave it up when more interesting things like pubs and women came along

USed to do a lot of Field Archery in my teens, mainly down south around Surrey and Berkshire. Not pulled a bow in a long time but keep thinking I ought to give it another go.

Used to do it too. Still have my bow.
Not done it in *ages* so would probably find it hard to pull.
And as for archery

I was taught to shoot properly and dont use an arm guard, only a piece of tubigrip if wearing long sleeves. Its impossible to hit your arm if you are taught the correct technique.
