The new year has arrived and the shortest day has gone.

Already, I can notice the mornings getting gradually lighter, earlier.

With only 5 weeks to go until its light (just) when you leave work (if you leave at 5.30pm), can you smell good days ahead???

Roofdown chaps! BBQ's are stirring....

Hey Chim Girl,

thats one quick car in your profile.

Either that or the exposure on your camera needs adjusting.

All we need now is this blasted wind to abate...but, clear night skies now anyway, better than all this sodding rain....

It is summer where I am this week. I'll be going out for dinner in a T shirt in an hour or so.

I'm in Buenos Aires, a fantastic city.

Good question.

If this carries on, soon we'll be feeling rosy all over

No, Tray has left the building and it certainly ain't the sweet smell of summer that she generates.

We’ve got a primrose in flower in the garden. Do you think it knows something we don’t?
