Reminds me of Eddie Izzard's suggestions for various extra settings that the phasers in Star Trek could have had, like a setting to make people limp, or remember they've left the oven on, or develop a sudden interest in flowers.

(Edit: Or a setting that makes people's browsers post something 8 times. )

I'm not sure what to make of this comment in the article:


"distasteful but completely non-lethal blow"


I never realised they could be lethal....now I'm worried. Is it more dangerous to give or receive? What do they know I don't?
