What about the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamps, Paris. Or The Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs Kentucky, The Melbourne Cup in Australia, the Belmont Stakes in New York and many many others.

We have perhaps seem to have more than most but that's just because they are talked about here more than overseas races.

Ours - Grand National, Derby, Cheltenham Gold Cup, The Oaks
1000 Guineas, 2000 Guineas and the St Ledger. There are others Like the King George V Stakes too.

Who cares? If you really must know, borrow a daily newspaper off somebody, there's tons of stuff in everyday.
PS Kempton must be famous or you wouldn't have heard of it.

- what in a stable, or 'in' a horse?

anyway, your 'good' suggestion reminded me that they also race cars there, just like, i soon realised, as they do at Aintree i heard.

funny how famous racing venues cluster in certain places...
