went on a boat trip in cyprus in 03 and we were shown an abandoned town, the inhabitants were evicted in a short period of time, apparently there are tables setfor dinner, clothes in wardrobes and even childrens toys left in gardens. The whole place is cordonned off and has been left exactly as it was. A genuine ghost town. I cant remember what it was called though, must have had something to do with the local beer!!LOL
