Nearest service station on M5, near Bromsgrove

Does anyone know of the nearest service station on the M5 near to Bromsgrove/Redditch? I have to choose somewhere to meet someone, but I don't know that area of the M5 that well!!

Strensham on the M5, bit of a trek, mind. You'd probably be better off at the services at J2 M42.

Closest on M5 would be Frankley Services - approx 5 miles North of Bromsgrove between junctions 4 - 3.

Closest South would be Strensham about 20 miles between 7 - 8 hope this helps.

I've met people at Strensham in the past - minor headache is if you are leaving a car behind and going somewhere else, the Northbound/Southbound services are about a mile apart.

There is a "no public access" service road though.

Thanks guys , I'm meeting a guy who's buying my gearbox off me, he's in Stafford, I'm in the Forest, and he emailed me asking if it would be best if we met half way on the M5, hope I don't get mugged!!!! lol

Use the one on the M42 then, accessible from all directions, as the services are actually accessed from the roundabout on the junction.
