TREADMILL MOVIES??
Discussion
I like to run in the summer, usually a couple of set routes around the local countryside but as I currently leave for work in the dark and come home in the dark and a heavy christmas has taken it's toll on my body i'm having to run on my sister's treadmill.
This is incredibly boring and even though she has a tv in front of it I'm finding it harder and harder to not come up with some half ass excuse and not do it. When i'm running out doors I'm always getting somewhere and the fresh air and scenery make it a lot more interesting. The only thing that has seemed to help lift my spirits whilst running on it has been watching the entire Rocky Anthology DVD's (yes even the fifth one) as the training and fight scenes really do give you a lot of motivation and always make me.. gulp.. punch the air a lot and pretend i'm the next lennox lewis.
Anyways i've finished these fine movies now and am looking for more movies that motivate!! Anyone got any recommendations for good stuff to watch and keep your interest whilst jogging?

What about a scenic film - something like that one made of the train doing a complete circuit of the UK.
Imagine a 3-d video (you wearing the special glasses) filmed from a runners perspective (like the roller-coaster/helicopter/driving that are shown in 3-d cinemas).
You could build a collection of different locations, along a mountain track, woodland path, city skyscrapers, etc.
I think I'm onto a winner here. Anyone know any patent lawyers ?

Not a bad idea at all lunarscope!
As for the Eric Prydz exercise video, I fear running would be the last thing on my mind watching that.

Thought that was the idea, to take your mind off the running
Well in that case, there's a whole genre of movies to watch.
Unfortunately, I generally only am able to watch about 5 minutes of them, and I'm not sure if any of them even have an ending.Gassing Station | The Pie & Piston Archive | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
