Yup, Science Technician.
Blimey, I used to go to school in Fakenham. I went to Fakenham Grammer when I first went, then it became Fakenham Comprehensive... is that what they call Fakenham High, the big old building on Wells Road that back on to Digby Drive (lived there)?

I'm desperately trying to remember the name of my physics teacher for A-levels. I think his surname began with an 'R' and then he became the head of the sixth form... nope, can't remember, had a 2cv though and I vaguely seem to recall he had a bike too.

Regards,

Mark

Yeah Rowey still works here, he's now deputy head.
The big building on Wells Road is now called Fakenham College, but it's really a sixth form as a lot of the High School kids go down there for lessons. The High School is up Field Lane (the road next to the College).

I think you're the third PHer who's lived in Fakenham, not bad considering there's only 8000 residents!

I moved (well was taken) there when I was 5 in 1973 and left to go to uni when I was 18. Dad ran the shop in town called Chemstop until last year when he retired and mum is town clerk.

Say hello to Paul for me, my full name is Mark Hibbins. He may not remember me as it was a very long time ago but he'll probably remember when we wired up the van der graaf generator to the physics lab door handle when he was late for a lesson he was due to give us and got a bit of a shock when he came in the room

Regards,

Mark

Bloody Onions! Must have been driven mad by the lack of real meat in the vegetable growing county!
