I am lucky enough to have today off work so took the opportunity to take the kids to school.

When I arrived the whole playground was taped off with only a small pathway to the classrooms. At the playground entrance was a hastily written sign, 'FROST - KEEP OFF PLAYGROUND'

WTF!!

Where is the fun? In my day we had a great laugh sliding on the ice etc. yes we fell over but we got back up and got on with it. Where is the fun for todays kids??

If I were you, I'd take cover, pretty damn' quick, before the Health & Safety Police come round to take you away and hand you over to the Thought Police for corrective training......

Is the playground grass? At my old school they didn't like people walking on the grass on frosty mornings as it damages it apparently.

If it's tarmac/concrete then I don't know what to say.....

Tarmac/concrete.

Will be interesting to see if they were able to play on it at lunchtime or wether the painted hopscotch board has become too slippery now the frost has melted?
