Transparency International is the equivalent of Amnesty International but reports on corruption instead of human rights.

Read their report on the tsunami and you will see why I have not given one penny to the appeals. I have visited Madives, Thailand, Indonesia and India. Lots of good times and nice people but I don't see 10 pence in the pound even getting through to the victims, especially in Indonesia. Most of the donations will end up buying mansions in Hampstead and apartments in New York and many other such worthy causes for the political elite. This is the best nose in the trough opportunity for ages.
