good tracks, never played...
Discussion
You know those tracks on an album that you think are really good, but were never released as a single, or never did well if released.
I have quite a few but listened to two tonight
(Here comes the) Rain – the Cult – Love
Cat People (Putting out fire) – David Bowie – Let’s Dance
IMO these are the best tracks on each of these albums but hardly ever get played on the radio, do you have any?

That was released on single. I have the 12". Has a great mix on the B side. Revolution was also released on 12".
Funny I'm listening to Revolution now from Rare Cult - the Radio session version
You're right, Rain was relesed but never and did ok IIRC, but I never hear it much on the radio, compared to say Sanctuary

Didn't think anyone played much Cult of any kind on the radio anymore. Not that I listen to the Radio.
i dont believe ive ever heard 'little wing' or 'castles made of sand' on the radio, ive certainly never seen them as singles. a shame as the tracks are quite moving. i suppose though hendrix is more (only?) known for voodoo chile and all along the watchtower.
