Would you ever turn down
Discussion
What do you mean by 'a drive'?
I guess the potential issues are safety and liability.
If you're talking about sensible driving on public roads, and if you're competant to keep it under control and the only thing unusual is the amount of power, I don't see any particular safety problem. If you're talking about getting involved in some sort of race then there are all sorts of extra risks but that would be the case regardless of the power levels I would have thought.
However, very powerful cars also tend to be very expensive. I would be cautious about doing something that might make you liable for something expensive.
For example I turned down a chance to drive a new Scoobie yesterday because I would not have been fully insured on it (and because I thought I might like it too much if I'm honest!).

beacuse you know the risks are too high.....
You define the risks, not the car, as long as you drive within yourself it's no more dangerous than anything else. Having said that, I did turn down the opportunity to drive a very trick Kawasaki superbike a couple of days ago because I didn't trust myself, and it is the bloke's P&J.
Whilst the above is completely correct with regards to you define the limits not the car etc. I have been in this situation, offered the keys to a dream car on numerous occasions but I have always turned it down just in case...
Mind you, if he offers me them again, I may have a small lapse of morality

Depends.
If someone tossed me the keys to their McLaren F1 and said "Off you go. But if you bend it, you mend it" then....
.... actually, I don't know. I think I'd make sure that I was FULLY insured for all eventualities for a start.

Depends what it was or where it was. If someone was to say 'Do you fancy lighting up a Top Fuel dragster up Deansgate', I'd say "eYeeeees!", and if someone was to say 'Do you want to get stuck in a traffic jam whilst on the way to Sainsbury's to do the weekly shop in a Bugatti Veyron disguised as a minicab, then I'd say...
