O/T What film poster for the lounge?

Slightly O/T but I’m looking for a movie poster to frame and hang on the lounge wall to break-up the blank space when the projector screen is rolled up.
I’ve trawled through loads of pics on the net. Particularly these two sites:

www.allposters.com
And haven’t really seen anything I like. Prerequisites are as follows:
Needs to be landscape and quite large (at least 100x75cm)
Nothing showing violence, or sinister or macabre
Nothing sci-fi (don’t want it to look like a teenagers bedroom)
Nothing cheesy (I never knew there were so many Wizard of Oz posters available)
Ideally I’d like something atmospheric (maybe black and white) from a cult film. It doesn’t have to be a modern film.
The only ones that I’ve seen that I like so far are Reservoir Dogs:
The God Father:
Easy Rider:
Very different subject matter on each one I agree. The first two sort of fail a bit on the sinister/macabre point.
What would you choose (not just from the above)?

I've got a good one of Steve McQueen in Le Mans in black & white on the back of my door. Not landscape though.
Have you considered a classic Bond poster? Usually dramatic without being cheesy, sci-fi or too violent. I've got a landscape version of the Diamonds Are Forever poster back home. Not black & white, but it has that 'faded foyer poster' look, taken from a painted, as opposed to photoshopped, print. Very classy, in it's own way.

That's all very well, but putting up pictures of someone else's passions are beyond me.
Me personally? I have stuff on my walls purely relating to my own life. People I admire, photography I have taken, and artwork I have done myself, or that my friends have done.
Most people seem to want to make fashion statements with the things they put on their walls. For me I only want to be surrounded by things I love, not what other people regard as cool or classic.

Fine if you happen to be a photographer or an artist but us mere mortals have to buy it in.
Edit: So what does that make art collectors? Are you saying that it's wrong to put something on your wall becuase you like the look of it and find it interesting to look at?

I wasn't trying to get on my high horse! Everyone's creative. I am neither a photographer or an artist, but I think there is nothing better than putting your own stamp on a place. Thing is, if you are a film buff (which you seem to be) then putting stuff on the walls from films is great. But I think they need to be your favourites not someone elses. Sorry if I sounded w@nky!

i was merely making a suggestion. Didn't the initial post call for that, I'll recheck in a minute.
I thought the poster summed up what they were after. As for the film, I watched it, thought hmmm, OK but it is supposed to be a cornerstone in movie making hence my little caption.
I may have taken your post as a slight, but if you posted for reasons other than to make a suggestion, well, why?

I’d like to make the poster be of one of my favourite films (ATM Reservoir Dogs is the leader). However this is also in a way will be a piece of furniture and so needs to fit with the rest of the elements of the room and add to the ambience. The idea to make it a film poster was because that area of the room would normally be used to show films when the screen’s down so it sort of fit’s nicely. Since I’m mostly into sci-fi and action movies the two don’t necessarily go together! Hence the reason for asking for opinions t1grm said:

Then the reservoir dogs one would be my choice.
