I watched it for the first time last night - damn good movie I thought.

It's one of those films that I've been meaning to watch for ages and never got round to it.

Seconded I remember the first time I watched it ages ago not expecting much. Turned out to be a great film with some clever plot twists.

Agree..
I used to think Brad McArmPitt was another crap actor but I really liked his performance in 12 monkeys.

The whole nutcase routine with using middlefingers all the time was hilarious

I don't really like the film, not a Bruce Willis fan. Have to admit Mr Pitt plays a good part though!

Bit off topic, I don't dislike Bruce Willis as much as Tom Hanks though! I can't stand him, and I can honestly say I have never watched one of his films. I know Saving Private Ryan gets rave reviews, but I would only watch it if they edited him out!!!!!

I HATE TOM HANKS MOVIES!!!

Bruce Willises finest film, if anyone doubts his acting ability this proves he can when he wants to.

Absolutly excelent film.

I like Bruce Willis and Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise. It may not be cool to say it, but I reckon all of them are very good actors.

This is a great (and irrational) shame I think. Hanks has done some truly excellent films - Private Ryan, Apollo 13, Forest Gump etc.

You really are missing out.

Brilliant film. Was largely confused most of the way through the first time but the more you watch it the more you notice. My favourite kind of film because there's so much more going on than you can take in if you only watch it once.

I think it's totally cool to say that. All three are excellent movie actors in the right roles.

Other hollywood stars often considered "uncool" who can be excellent include Stallone and Arnie - who in the right roles are great - Stallone - Copland, Rocky, Arnie - True Lies, Terminator.

Top film. Has made it into the "pdV6 DVD library", i.e. I know I'll re-watch it many times, so I've actually bought it!

I too think it is cool to say whatever actors you like or dislike, but I personally can not stand Tom Hanks! I have missed all of his films and maybe I am missing something, but I can't stand to watch him!

I agree Sly was excellent in Copland, but I thought he was great in Rambo too. I don't dislike Tom Hanks because it is cool to dislike him, I just cannot stand to watch him in a film.

This may be a silly question, but if you've not seen any of his films, how do you know you can't stand him? What is it about him that freaks you out?

Some actors suprise me when they manage to put in a performance that goes completely against their normal mannerisms and persona. Jim Carey would need strangling if he didn't put in occasional performances that didn't involve massive overuse of his facial muscles.

Have to agree it's a great film. Pitt's performance is excellent - as it is in Fight Club. I think Mr.Pitt's looks often cloud his acting talent, but what can you do?
