eaves listeners - Update

Hi to all those who have heard the sound of eaves, for those who havent, Im the drummer from the band - see www.eaves.biz for sights and sounds.

I am pleased to report that eaves have already been asked to play at the vwwhitenoise festival here in Norfolk in August this year (weekend 12th-14th) - thats my kind of gig, cars, car enthusiasts, booze and people who enjoy some live music.

We are also playing at the Islington Carling Academy Bar on Tues 5th April. Tickets available from me (£3.50) if you fancy coming along.

Thanks to all of you who posted feedback, I hope you are still enjoying the album. And apologies to those who requested albums and have been waiting - I received a batch of jiffys yesterday and mailed your albums to you straight away - enjoy!

It could well be time to launch an assault on Radio1! TOMORROW I will post again and hopefully some of you guys will join me in trying to persuade Jo Whiley to give us a bit of air time. We have mailed her the album, (and to be sure we sent another by recorded delivery to ensure it was received) so fingers crossed she should have a copy available to her now.

I think her show starts at 10.00 so I will post again tomorrow to begin the fun.

Haven't been able to give it a proper listen. CD is in the car and I'm 3000 miles away at work. Last minute packing My fault.

Okay, today is the day to see if we can get Radio 1, and in particular Jo Whiley, to mention and play some eaves music.

I've borrowed your CD off one of my housemates who you very kindly sent a copy to. I've listened to it twice from beginning to end and I think you've got another fan. Seems like you've got a few more from this site too! I wish you luck with getting as far as you can with it. I will send an email for you to Jo tomorrow when she's on!

Glad you like it. I will hopefully be in bed asleep tomorrow at 10:00 (back on night shift tonight ) but hope that the onslaught continues.
