Second one comes out on DVD tomorrow.

I'm tempted to buy the "outbreak" boxset which is also coming out, but as far as I can tell there are no extra features that aren't already on the individual discs so it's pretty pointless if you already own the first DVD.

Anybody know anything about it/seen it? What do you think?

Do you mean the movies?

I haven't bothered with Apocalypse - but I quite enjoyed the first one in a "Milla Jovovich jiggles around enticingly" sort of way...

So long as she does plenty of acrobatics in the next one I'll no doubt watch it for the amusement...

The second film is quite good actually (taken int he context of a film of a video game). I liked the first one too.

This film got slated by Johnathon Ross and all the Film mags, but we seen it at the pics and we really enjoyed it! It's just a no brainer action/sci-fi/horror flick which passes away 90 mins very well, very enjoyable I thought !

It's a movie adaptation of a game - You just have to take it at face value. It's not going to have an intricate plot and it's not going to be particularly artistic, or even that well directed.

But who cares!

She is a seriously fine looking woman

Plus, zombie movies are far too thin on the ground these days.

Milla Jovovich.

but...MOVE OVER!

Sienna Guillory as "Jill Valentine".

O M G

What a perfect marriage of actress and character and costume. Quite possibly the most perfect manufactured fantasy lady ever.

I've just watched "Apocalypse" and was thoroughly entertained. Great action horror flick. Nicely didn't take itself seriously - whilst still not putting the tongue so far into the cheek that it became overly silly.

Grand escapist nonsense. With TWO luscious heroines! What could be better!

For some more Mila Jovovich, rent out " No Good Deed" from your local Blockbuster, with Samuel L Jackson in it..

Its an OK film, and curiously slowly paced, but SLJ is good and Mila is good too.

Not an action flick, but it rolls along nicely and the plot is enough to keep you interested.

I'm not sure how a zombie action flick of barely over 80 minutes could be so utterly tedious as RE Apocalypse. First one is worth a watch but the remake of Dawn of the Dead is far superior in every way than this grubby little piece of franchise offal.
