Film:Le Mans

Suprised at how bl00dy brilliant it is, expected a camp 70's film like of Sly Stallone's Indy car film, but got a gasoline fuelled extravaganza. AWESOME!

When you do drive round the track and you'll see the places the film was shot. The flying car crash is Indianapolis (left) and the McQueen crash was just before the ripple bit on the entry of the Porsche curves. The opening sequence was shoot just after Maison Blanche, that road has bee re profiled over the winter so don’t know what it looks like now.

Great film in fact the film that started my interest in GT and Sportscar racing all those years ago.
