I can't believe that hypocrite Chris Moyles could go from attacking Ellen MacArthur ('it's just pointless, why not sit in a bath of beans for a week? What a waste of time') on national radio, to a piece on bullying and his hero David Beckham.

I'm not easily wound up, but for f***s sake, someone achieves something pretty impressive, physically, mentally and technologically and the 'voice of the nation' thinks she might as well have spent a month playing X-Box?!

This anti-achievement, anti-intelligent bulls*** is ****ing offensive. Media luvvies like Moyles have perfected the art of being proud of being fat and stupid, and adoring other celebrities. Screw 'em. What the hell is wrong with wanting to achieve something, and admiring people for what they do rather than which gurning media muppets they know?

Can I assume that in order for you to know the above, you would have actually been listening to the obnoxious fat c*&t in the first place?

I have to admit I am a big fan of Chris Moyles and always have been. There are far too many people out there who are afraid of saying what most people are thinking. He is definitely not one of them. But what people tend to forget id, his whole act is to offend, you have obviously been sucked in. Besides on this particular topic I have to agree with him. If you habe read her book, you will know what I mean. Never have I come across anyone who moans more than that woman. Why the hell do it, if all you are going to do is bl00dy moan about it. Seriously we are talking about 250 pages of moan moan moan.

Which is.....?

Most Radio 1 DJ's are uder the impression they are massive superstars, they like to make inflammatory comments simply to show how cool they are (or should they be phat?).

Absolute w@nkers all of them.

Moyles should be sacked and banned forever from broadcasting on any radio or TV station in any part of the world. He is a fat, loud mouthed obnoxious tw@. He probably hopes to end up like the Ginger Whinger that was Chris Evans

Put Moyles on a boat and send him round the world, not only might he lose some weight but with a bit of luck he wouldn't return.

ps: he can take Sara Cox with him as well.

I saw Moyles on a TV panel game, the guy didn't say a word and was clearly out of his depth. I imagine he finds insulting people more of a challenge when they are in the same room

If you want to cheer yourselves up, get hold of a copy of "Buzzcocks" when he was on it, and watch Mark Lamarr & Phil Jupitus demonstrate how to be really funny. Showed him up to be what he really is, i.e nothing without his group of sycophants that surround him at R1.

I was listening because R1 is playing some decent music this week.

And the boy is an idiot from time to time.

Get the young lady on for an interview next week. That could be fun.

Damn right. I have to suffer those cackheads when I'm in the workshop because those of our staff with the sense of humour of 10 year olds think R1 is cool.
Well it's not.

Nowhere is the degeneration of the once great British media more apparent than at Radio One.

Up until Matthew Bannister wrecked it, Radio One was a true bastion of quality music programming fronted by highly talented professional DJ's who were loved by the nation.

Remember Steve Wright? Bates, DLT, Reid, et al, etc...etc...

And the Radio One roadshows were the highlight of the Summer.

All they have now are a bunch of offensive, untalented "presenters" who think the only way to achieve fame and recognition is to be as offensive and trivial as possible.

The net result? Millions tuned elsewhere, never to return. Myself included.

Unfortunately it's not just the DJs that have gone way downhill. The standard of news reporting is now little better than the Sunday Sport. FFS who cares whether Pete Doherty is being kept in jail overnight!
