Top show, compelling and informative.

Not keen on the narrator though.

We have this thread every week.

I actually saw Duncan Ballantine of the dragons and who I think was the jewellery girl (Elizabeth Galton) from last week in a restaurant on Bond street Sat lunchtime. They weren't talking much! Looked a little stoney!

Narrator is a pain but the program is brilliant. Some of the things people are trying to blag investment for and how unprepared some seem is quite hilarious.

p.s. you'd have to be an idiot to negotiate this stuff on tv whilst standing up in front of a camera under that type of pressure.

p.s. the restaurant I saw those two in was Nichole Farri basement restaurant. I'd forgotten what it was called when I made the post. It was definitely them!

The simple answer is that if its a good idea, the finance will come to you.

Not always true, you could have the greatest idea but if no-one knows about it you aren't going to get the backing you need.

The advice/critique the "dragons" offer is often very sound and we as viewers can easily respect what they say (unlike someone like Simon Cowell, who while telling the truth is ruthless and goes for the jugular regardless).

My mate Tracey still doesn't believe that she's not the Ann Summers woman.

Did anyone see the "new" golf carrier? Special low weight, everything out in the open.

Thing is I have a big golf bag to carry drink, food, balls, tee's and my wet weather clothes. Where would all that go on it?

What if it rained the grips would all get wet. Daft idea, can't believe the smarmy one wanted to invest in it.

I thought the best idea was the umbrella vending on the tube stations. The business was simple and well thought out.

It wasn't barmy at all, as he pointed out it was priced perfectly into the gift market.

The product itself was pretty much useless to a golfer as as you say you carry much more in your bag that just clubs, but it would make an attractive present for someone.

Personally I think that a lot of the inventions that people claim will sell, won't. There is too much crap in the world already!

Well I read it in either the Eve Standard, Telegraph, Times or Guardian. Never believe a word that any of them say.
