Hi
Just wondering anyone knows what might be wrong with it.
Has pilot flame going and I've re-set it once. I turn hot water and hitting to on at the box at the box but it dosen't fire up. Seems to be rest of flames don't fire up? It mentions something about turning the electricity supply on and off when starting up. But if I have a pilot flame wouldn't of thought it was that.
Any ideas?
Si

If it is a combi, it could be low pressure. IF you have a pressure gauge and it is not reading or is on the low side, open the tap on the metal hose and that will increase the pressure (don't forget to turn it off again!!)

There is a knob numbered 0 - 6 and says to tturn 0 start pilot up. Then turn to 6 and should fire up but it dosen't. Once it fires up your meant to turn it to what ever want tit at - they call it a thermosat as well. Is that waht you mean o the actual gas pipe using a screw driver to open up a bit so lights but why would pressure fall and why need to turn back down after?
Thanks

If you mess with it, it will kill you. Get a plumber. Don't bother with British Gas or the like, they're shit. Ask your neighbours if they can recommend a good plumber, don't use classifieds.

Is a room thermostat turned down to zero?

Ahh.. sounds like one of my (many) boiler issues. With me it turned out to be a lazy/broken solenoid so the main gas valve wasnt opening. You get the 'click' when you turn up the dial as the the thermostat switches on, but nothing else... hope that helps.
