Had a weird experience this morning.

Listening to Manic Street Preachers album "This is the Truth Tell Me Yours"

Track 4: Ready for Drowning
Track 5: Tsunami

Anyone else seen anything else like this?

Michael Crichton's new book "State of Fear" has a whole section relating to an artificially induced tsunami. The book was first published late last year - a month or so BEFORE the real tsunami struck.

A novel all about a big ship that sunk on its maiden voyage to New York from Southampton after it hit an iceberg. The ship was called Titan.
The book was out a few years before the Titanic sunk.

I read a book about 5 years ago about an islamic international terrorist who kidnaps a nuclear sub and decides to shoot down a Concorde over the atlantic, also does a load of other stuff but has a similar plot to 9/11.
Think it was a Dean Coontz book....there was a series of them, god! I have a terrible memory.

Oh come on - stories about tsunami's are hardly going to be sparse, one about a tsunami hitting Sri Lanka might have been more eyebrow raising.

And I imagine it took a few years to build the titanic, so it wouldn't surprise me that some creative cynics were predicting it's downfall from the start.

I'm almost surprised there haven't been photos of the devil appearing in the wave / four horsemen of the apocalypse riding the crest etc

There is a theory that the Titanic disaster was an insurance job that went horribly wrong so the book proberably gave tham the idea!!!

The book about the 'Titan' was published in 1898.
The Titanic sunk in 1912.
It doesn't take 14 years to build a ship.

I read something recently on the net that said the National Reconnaissance Office in American planned an exercise on 11 Sept 2001 whereby a plane crashed into one of the WTC towers. The exercise was cancelled when the real thing started...

The same article said that the pilot who hit the pentagon was an ex-Navy F4 pilot, and his last Navy mission was to help craft Pentagon response plans in the event of a commercial airliner hitting the building.

Don't believe it myself, but there you go.

On the Pet Shop Boys album 'Actually' there is a song called 'King's Cross'

Only last night I found myself lost
By the station called King's Cross
Dead and wounded on either side
You know it's only a matter of time

Released some time before the fire. I remember that freaking people out.

In fact you can predict anything and it will probably happen at some point in time ie WBA and Norwich City getting relegated from the Premiership
