Skiing in April - Banff?
Discussion
It will be getting a little barren then depending on the weather. Also, depending on which resort you go to.
Sunshine Village is the highest, so the snow stays the longest.
Lake Louise has snow making equipment, so may have a better cover at that time.
Those are the two largest ski areas in Banff Nat park, both are great.
I've gone in April before and it can be fantastic. +5 or 10 at the chalet at the bottom with beer is good, while it's just below 0 at the top, so the snow stays nice.
You'll definately want good sunglasses and sunscreen, it will be bright.
I'm hoping to be out there at the end of March sometime. Yippee!
