Ah yes, I've remembered, being Valentine's Day it's also 'airwaves-turn-to-slush' day.

Rest assured the top 5 on my show tomorrow will be 'alternative/off-beat love songs', just to redress the balance whilst keeping the spirit.

At the moment it's:

-The Mission - Garden Of Delight
-The Cure - The Same Deep Water As You
-Madonna - Frozen
-Bruce Springsteen - Tunnel Of Love

and another I've temporarily forgotten (might be Judas Priest - Turn On Your Light or Franz Ferdinand - Auf Achse), but those four are definately in it on account of their sheer poetry and depth of feeling. Certainly love songs, but unlike the likes of Lionel Richie, have a lot more to say than 'I Love You'.

I would put 'Hysteria' on there, but my copy's scratched on that track

The main thrust of my show is to play rare tracks, album tracks and so on - stuff people either won't have heard before, or that hasn't been on in ages.
