The weather today has been so good that we dug the barbie out...

It's babs time, home made chicken and lamb (that's the babs, not the chicken or lamb, which came from the village butcher), and a nice bottle of merlot to boot!

bon apetite to you all.

yum didly scrum, god's breath that was good!
And banana boats with syrup for dessert.

Thinking that if we ever get around to building our own house a barbecue porch outside the kitchen door will be a must!

Hey hey, actually had my dinner outside today, albeit a McDonalds.

The sun was actually quite warm at the start. But by the end as I tucked into my Apple Pie, I had to go back to the car as my acorns were beginning to freeze.

Ah, but surely that was the last barbie of last year, not the first of this?
