Hmmm - strange one this. I commute from Reading to West London everyday. Reading town centre is a joy this week, but the M4 is a flipping nightmare!

My theory is that everyone's box of space is slightly larger due to less volume on the road, but not significantly less volume. So people have more room to speed up, slow down and change lanes. This is causing the traffic to brake more and we have the domino effect.

Alternatively, there are more numpties on the road as they aren't working this week...

Any thoughts, or am I just being sad?

Exeter was heaving with silly little children in none existant skirts and huge Warren James earrings. Must be half term, then Roads just had an influx of 4x4s all day, rather than morning-late arvo. Ah well, 4 days left!
