I have been to a funeral today....

It made me think about how I would like mine to be.

I want my Coffin to be tranported to the graveyard/crematorium in a specially converted McLaren F1.
Then it should be carried by the Swedish Bikini Team to its final resting place.
I want some decent music(maybe Comfortably Numb) to play me out and if people feel the need to sing something, sing something everyone can get into like "Come on Eileen"

Then everyone should go get very drunk and say really great things about me.

I would also like my mates to perform a blues brother number, seeing as they would be wearing the right clothes for it

I want everyone to be really sad. No I mean really sad. Because they've just been subjected to John Coltrane's 'Ascension'.
They had it coming, the bastards.
:adopt Alan Partridge voiceover "Needless to say I had the last laugh"

Delayed... by, say, three decades?

I've tried thinking in my usual parallel universe, but you've really foxed me with that one!

If everyone could delay thier death by a few decades, there would be no cot deaths.
I wondered if I was being too obscure

Well I dont really care, I won't be there (not in spirit anyway, plenty more interesting stuff than a boring funeral to find out if there is an afterlife)

Family will be the main ones attending, they know how they would want it done and so let them choose.

Bah, forget a proper funeral. Burn my body up and run my ashes through a Mclaren.

You can chuck my body into the woods for all I care. I'm dead, any funeral arrangements are simply a waste of cash. Let the wolves have at me.
