Used a Telephone box or public telephone...

My mobile ran out of juice whilst I was out recently, so I had to drive around to look for a phone box to make a call...

I couldn't believe how quickly the money went down either...

There is also...

Wrote someone a personal letter...
Went on a bus...
Rode on a train...
Bought just a pint of milk... (how much..?)
Went a day without PH...
Sent a film off to be developed...
Set the video recorder...
Fast forwarded a cassette tape...
Had your Vinyl out...(not that sort)

There are so many things we take for granted, technology, convienience, laziness and apathy are common place.

What do you miss..?

I always buy single pints of milk, bless me. However, the last time i bought it in a glass bottle was about 11 years ago for my mum when we ran out, from the local corner shop. I miss glass milk bottles, the cardboard things are crap.

Cheers,
Rob.

I still get my milk delivered in glass bottles. And OJ.

I still write letters all the time.

As for the rest... not for a long time.

Wrote someone a personal letter... Last week (but does cutting them out of local Gazette count?)
Went on a bus... about 2 years ago. Never again, cost me as much as a taxi, and that would have been a damn sight quicker.
Rode on a train... can't remember
Bought just a pint of milk... (how much..?).. get ours delivered, in bottles too (don't know how much, about £12 per fortnight)
Went a day without PH...day before I joined
Sent a film off to be developed... about a year ago. And I knew thye'd turn out crap.
Set the video recorder... It's knackered. As I found out last week.
Fast forwarded a cassette tape... In the wedge
Had your Vinyl out...(not that sort) ...Now and again I 'clean' my old Roxy albums.

I play my vinyl at least once a week, never usea payphone, I have my Photographic film developed at a local shop I have never been able to set the video(joke, kind of!) and by choice, I would rather take the train on a long Journey than drive

Took my three year old on a train and bus ride last summer, just so she would know what it was like. One stop on the train and back by bus.

Must get the vinyl out this weekend.

Come on then - how much is a doorstep pinta these days?

My first job when I left school was as a milkman. 12.5p per pint then. I got the sack eventually - for speeding!
