With the country constantly being told that we are in danger from terrorist attack, does it strike anyone else as strange that there is now a freephone number to enable anyone to find out when and where low flying aircraft will be?
While I'm far from convinced about the threat we actually face, this seems to be a great source of info for anyone carrying a ground to air missile.

So they set up a helpline so people with nothing better to do but wait for low flying aircraft to fly over then complain can get early warning about it?

OK, so someone died because of the fact that her horse threw her off. A sad event but I can't see how the aircraft was at fault for a stupid animal. What if a car backfired near it? You move to an area where the air force and army practice low flying and then complain about it? Some people need taking outside and given a shoeing.
