Yep,
Two rounds of thick (fresh, warm, doughy, white bread) traditionally cured, lightly smoked, back bacon sandwiches with a thin spreading of H57, and only H57's, tomato ketchup - washed down with a nice cup, or two, of black filter coffee, made with Lavattzza (sp?) Noir and still mineral water, and two tea spoons of brown sugar. Bliss.
Treat myself to this on the odd weekend at home as a Sunday brunch.
Saturday mornings.
Small baton or a third of a french stick.
Tomato sauce on one side.
6 rashers of hand cut dry cure rindless smoked back from a butchers
Handful of mushrooms finely sliced and fried until golden in bacon fat thrown on top of the bacon
Two cotswold legbar eggs, over easy on top of the mushrooms
Worcester sauce on the egg and other side of the baton/french stick
Served with a pint of hot sweet tea.
Skip lunch and you should be ready for a light evening meal.
Ideal!
