2 hours!!!!!!

It took me 2 hours to do the 30mile drive to work this morning! (Normally takes 45mins)

I had the misfortune of being in front of the Gritter lorry so it was a bit slippy in places.

There were 3 accidents in the space of 150 yards (On the DC from the Chalfonts to Denham).

There is hardly anyone in the office i'm beginning to think I should of worked from home today! lol

Hopefully it should have cleared by the time I leave to go home!

The most snow we have had by a long way this year and still falling heavily.

It takes me about that long to do 25 miles every day!

Though it was a bit better today as people seem to have stayed at home in hoardes.

I always dread being the first one behond the gritter, free pebbledashing, stone chips and cracked windscreen with every trip.

Either that or passing one going in the opposite direction when the closing speed make the effects soooo much better...

Think yourself lucky, i had the pleasure of passengering in Pwigs gay little car when we overtook a gritter on the motorway - with the top down.

Now i know what it feels like to be sandblasted, I'm still coughing up bits of gravel ffs

Although the idiots on the A329(m) who were overtaking on the snow covered outside lane should be shot!!!

Everyone was being fairly sensible tbh. The first accident was one of those old vw caravelle vans which was lying on its side in the central reservation. (Police and Fire Brigade on scene). The next was a rear ender into the bushes and the third was a scrape down the corner of the rear bumper.

The worst bit was the corner as you head down towards the traffic lights in denham (After the DC). There was no grip. I had to touch the brakes to knock some speed off that you naturally gain. The car pulled left came off the brakes and it pulled right following the way the road was know going. One of those moments your glad your not in a rear wheel drive car!
