Well, in theory if he has spent £28k it is possible, however unlikely. These power levels have been achieved when the car was in its prime, but the power and rpm figures don't add up. I very much doubt if the box will take that much torque tho

I have emailed him with some questions so lets see what he has to say

He may be legit

692+ BHP MODIFIED Toyota Supra Mk3 Turbo

HI, BY THE TIME YOU HAVE READ THIS LINE YOU COULD BE TRAVELLING OVER 70 MPH.

THIS IS A CAR FOR MEN NOT BOYS GIVING 0-60 IN 4.7 SECONDS AND A TOP SPEED OF 160+ MPH!
After all the standard Mk3 Supra is 221 BHP approx.

*
The car is a 3Lt straight 6 sports turbo charged engine, 5 speed manual box.
The car is finished in midnight blue with blue leather interior.
Complete with electric windows, electric mirrors, and central locking
Scorpio alarm & immobilizer with remote.

Also a powered driver seat, tilt steering wheel and their is a Cracking sound system fitted,
The Kenwood Kdc CD player. Most people would prefer to replace the standard alloy wheels
on the car to there own preference! so the car still has the original alloy wheels fitted.
I feel their is no point spending the money if you don't like the wheels!

It has just past a 12 month M.O.T. 28/02/05 And is taxed for 6 months.
I have the complete service history up until the car was rebuilt.

*
This is a great car to drive once you get used to the power she boasts 900 lb/ft torque at 3627 RPM in 3rd, startling performance and good economy 25 miles to the gallon approx., with easy driving of course. (Best of all great 'in-your-face' road presence - this is not a car for the shy and retiring.)

The car was registered in 1991 and the shell of the car has covered 300,000 miles.
The new engine has only been ran in to 3251 miles.

But this don't stand for a lot as all the mechanical parts have been changed and the shell has been taken right back to the metal and a respray done this means the colour can easily be changed to your preference, so now it is only the Speed o that's covered 300,000 miles and the rest of the car is brand spanking. This will really confuse your mates

It is, as you would expect in excellent condition and looks stunning in midnight blue.
Because I never put any body kits on her she is a stealth rocket that still turns heads at the traffic lights.

I do apologies to all you Ferrari drivers (E.C.T.) when I sit at the lights I don't mean to make you all look like a small kitten, she just wants to eat all you pretty boys up

Like every lady she grabbed my wallet and went to the shops and spent over £25,000.
For example when you buy her a diamond she wants the necklace and the earrings to match, the car is the same (new engine new sports turbo injectors and on and on) now she likes to show off

So it is time for a divorce? to let us build another stunning car.
I have receipts for 90% of the parts bought, most of the parts came from supra stores in the USA.

As a road/super car it is fast enough, but if you want to go insanely faster you could easily still add 100+ B.H.P, it really is limit less!

Put it this way we recorded 692 BHP at only 3627 RPM in 3rd gear & their is still plenty of pedal left! we quickly ran out of road (I live in Scotland where finding a quite road long enough with out speed cameras or my friends the police is a bit hard but always fun trying!

So if YOU have the b**ls to drive a car that will chew up and spit out all other so called super cars on the road then bid and buy yourself the biggest adrenaline rush that money can buy!

You will not find a car offering as much as this one for the price! that is why I rebuilt her.

Even if you now nothing about cars, you will see from the specs and long list of parts that has gone into the car you are getting a fantastic bargain for the price. See below.

The only two cars on the market near the specs are the Ferrari F50 and the Meclarine F1 how much do they cost? Of course if you can afford them go for it. If you want a dark horse that will kill any car on the road this is the daddy.

So the list and what has been done on the car such as the brakes, steering, prop shaft, diff, E.C.T

The block rebored and skimmed 20thu over & the head skimmed ported polished and the valves re seated.

*
New JE Pistons 20th over, & Rings are fitted.

New ARP Head Bolts & HKS Mhg 2.0mm Bead head gasket fitted.

<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->* <!--[endif]-->

New Injectors raised to RC 550's out put & Clips fitted.

*
A New Walbro high rate Fuel Pump fitted.

*
1 x New FSE Power boost Valve fitted - Toyota Supra (FSE Power boost)

*

<!--[endif]-->

New K&N Fipk air filter & Supra Sports Air Flow Meter fitted.

*
New Cartech Inter Cooler fitted.

*
New Clutch Master Flywheel & Clutch Master Clutch Stage IV fitted.

*
New Supra Sports Clutch Line fitted.

*
New AEM stand alone ECU that has been mapped to over 700 BHP fitted.

*

*
A New Greddy Front Strut-Tower Bar fitted.

All the latest B.H.P records were archived using the Race Technology
meter www.race-technology.com/WebPage2/Products/AP22/AP22Home.html or please see:

For a meter review: www.seight.com/AC22.html

Or www.caddyinfo.com/ap22review.htm

The AEM ECU is the brains of the car this is why I spent the extra cash to get the best on the market, you will get the benefit of this software when you buy this car. Allowing you to change or tweak the car even more. The AEM will handle as much BHP and torque you can through at it, and then some.

You could active more B.H.P on a longer flat piece of road or a race track. E.g.(Silverston)

I would like to invite anyone who is seriously interested in the car to please come over to look the car over. Just give us a call or Email for any more information about the car, or viewing arraignments.
All genders are happily invited

(This car is advertised on other sites at £28,750 so get an even better bargain and use buy it now.)

I reserve the right to stop the auction early, because the car is advertised in other places!
This type of car (see specks) dose not come up very often, it is in the auction to give you a fair chance
to own one at a great price, so get bidding

Please remember you are bidding to buy the car, not to view it! so all bids will be accepted as final.

Good luck and happy bidding!

There ya go ! Make of that what you will

I believe there's a 1,000hp Supra; quite well known in Supra circles.

So, the more revs thing is quote plausible (though I've no idea how accurate those things are, especially with that sort of power).

The AP22 speed calculation is susceptible to integration errors over long runs, and gets really confused if there are any hills. It's quite easy to provoke massive over-readings, and I would completely discount AP22 figures from an unknown source.

You never know. Sure it has 692 bhp as measured by an AP22 but it would be interesting or better to show an RR atw figure. I know somebody who had an 800bhp Skyline and guesstimaed that in the right climatic conditions it could show 1000bhp. IIRC the only standard part was the bare block and it went thru about half a dozen boxes a year just on the 1/4 mile

biggest load of shite i have ever read in years. If you read the description both the peak bhp and torque figures were recorded at the exact same rpm and in 3rd gear....hmmm, that sounds likely doesn't it....

its buy it now price is ten grand less than what it is offered elsewhere for and he wants cash only.

there really should be more laws on reproduction in this country.

0-60 in 4.7? I'd expect a bit more pace from a 600 bhp engine! and 160 mph? I can do 110 in a 70 bhp fiesta!

Question. 690 bhp and 900ftlbs of torque.....oh really?
Well seeing as how he's using a g meter to get his hp calcs, he needs to know the weight of the car first before doing a run.

Even so i dounno if itll be possible to calculate the torque figures from that.
And in any case, the torque figures and bhp figures should be about equal, unless as i suspect, hes suffering from a case of extreme Bullshititis.

Some independent verification would be required and if thats not enough, im pretty sure id get more than 690 bhp out of an engine for the 28k he's asking for that.
Ps 550cc injectors wont be adequate for that level of power methinks.

[devils advocate]Probably not a maxxer though, given as the car looks entirely stock apart from the exhaust.[/devils advocate]

The power claim however, is monkey jizz If nothing else note a lack of any mention of cooling system or brake upgrades. It wouldnt last very long if it were to be putting down that kind of power.
