I was on Question Time a few years back. Unfortunately, the debate they didn't screen (there are always one or two 'pilot debates') was the one where I locked horns with Anne Widdecombe and made her look stupid to the point where everyone laughed at her (the debate concerned modern art and she came out with a load of easily-defeatable cobblers in front of a panel that included the head of the Royal College of Art). Unfortunately my comments on the actual debate were restricted to an aside about New Labour spin being 'politics for the MTV generation', which everyone found hilarious the next day at college.

I got interviewed on 'Sportscene' after my local team won a Scottish Cup 2nd round tie which meant they met Celtic in the next round.

We had all been on the 'sauce' for the whole day so i'm surprised:

1)I managed to sound semi-sensible and
2)They even showed it!

I still have it on tape to show the grandkids

On the BBC news maybe twice sitting in the Liasion Committee behind Blair.

A radio 4 show if that counts - might be called the world at 1. I was breathing in the background during an interview.

I would have been on the news with David Belamy but the IRA blew up the transit van full of fertiliser in Docklands. Damn them.

I was 'almost' on eastenders on thursday

I did a days work for a mate providing vehicles for TV and we had to go pick up Clints ice cream van with 'Clints Creamy Whip' all over it and Charlie's black Cab and a couple of other cars and then hang about on location all day watching the goings on.

Also had a wander round albert square
