I'm absolutely sick of some of the people of live in our flats.
Was leaving this morning and noticed some bloke ripping off the roof on the garage next to ours, whilst standing on our roof
When I got back this evening, there was a sheet over the end 3 garages (ours is the 4th), but not entirely covering the bit next to ours
also there are bricks out of the wall somehow (obviously numpty management lady booked cheapest shonkiest outfit possible).
While I was checking it out, said woman appeared, taking some photos for "evidence". She was pretty grumpy with me from the start, for some reason
. Turns out the middle of the 3 garage roofs was rotten, and it had spread to either side. No problem, but how much effort would it had been to let everybody know (only 12 flats)? Especially us, given that the bloke was standing on our roof and Mrs.NCOT's car was in the garage. Also, it's plainly not sealed properly at the moment and I fully expect a shite job will be done and our roof will start leaking...
I took the opportunity to mention that the outside electricity point didn't work. She said "I know, I found out this morning", as if I should have told her. Well, I didn't mention it because I left her a note about it about 6 or 8 months ago!
Then she informed me that I shouldn't be using it as it was paid for by the maintenance charge, "it's not fair if just some people are using it", and it should be locked up. I asked what it was there for and she shrugged her shoulders
I vacuum my car out once every 2 months or so and occasionally do a bit of blokey powertool type stuff in the garage. Where the f
am I supposed to do that then, in my living room?
When we bought the flat one of the things we asked about was the external power.
FFS I'm not stopping anybody else using the f
ing powerpoint! And it's hardly going to be a lot of money.
ing miserable greenslime t
ts. At the last AGM I asked if there was an external tap and I got the same shite, "who pays, not fair" etc., and got told to use a carwash
wits...
I am not going to let this go. FFS, the downstairs flats have patio doors onto the garden, so I don't see why I should pay towards its upkeep. Likewise, that's not my garage, so I don't want to pay for the roof. I can't believe these stupid
witted shortsighted t
ts...
Can't wait 'til the AGM when I can remind the woman that she said she'd change the door code on the side door after we had an attempted break-in. Oh yes, she said that at LAST YEAR'S AGM
The 3 buttons that are the ones used for the code are silver where the paint's worn off while the others are black, that's how long since the combination was last changed.
Counting the days 'til we can afford to buy a house...
Off to have a nice cup of tea and a sit down now...

A friend of mine had similar problems with a neighbour in the flats he used to live in. They hung a line up outside to dry washing on the odd occasion. Not permanent, just once every blue moon.
The neighbour kept cutting it down, leaving the clean clothes dragging across the dirty grass.
So, after banging on her doors (she wouldn't see him), he took to pissing on her car door handles every night.
