Sometimes you see items on ebay that you just know are not only a scam, but an incredibly optimistic one.

Check out this listing from a guy with Zero feedback...and as if that weren't enough....he's a scally!

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=90837&item=4975532302&rd=1">http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=90837&item=4975532302&rd=1</a>

And the seller's quote in the P&P section is priceless:
"once i receive the payement i will post the watch to any place you are as long as you give me your adress i will post it on my expenses"

Well of course I might forget to include my address if I were buying a £30,000 watch. And he's offering to send it for £5 P&P (which I thought was his "expenses" (sic)!!! AND NO INSURANCE!!!Hmm....Royal Mail delivery for five quid on an item like this. Yep, I'd trust 'em.

Got anymore?

And what do you think? Should I buy it?

Why would he be taking pictures of a $30,000 watch with a $20.00 digital camera?

Looks very shady to me, wouldn't give him my adress!

I emailed him:

"I am a watch collector, and as this is such an expensive item would you be happy for me to collect it personally and make payment?"

His reply:

"yea it doesnt matter and i wont mind meeting and u making the payement? but how are you gonna make the payement cash or what?"

I've just asked him this:

"Thanks for getting back to me.

Can you tell me:

Do you have the box and papers for the watch? Receipt? Where did you purchase it? - What dealer?

If I was to purchase it would be cash.

Thanks."
