Anyone see this last night?
Hadn't heard of her before, but what an amazing, amazing woman.
Diagnosed with terminal cancer (bones and lungs) 5 years ago, and decided to start competing in endurance events after being told this news.
Has since raised over £1 million for charity, competing in marathons, triathlons, bike rides, and most recently the Florida Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and then a marathon!!)
Successfully completed this despite being in hospital the week before unable to walk properly due to her tumours.
Don't mind admitting I shed a tear when she crossed the finish line.
Heartening that with all the sh1t in the world, people like Jane remind you what human spirit is really about.
